Purchase books to help The Nest
Bruce in his berry eating dome is now an author. There are 2 tales about this adorable (but messy) bird now available on Amazon. A portion of sales is being kindly donated to us. Thank you Tina of @follow_the_feathers for this kindness and support. Shop from Amazon Canada: Shop from Amazon USA: |
Sponsor your favourite Nester
Now on the profile page for each of our birds you’ll see a “Sponsor” button. Selecting this button takes you to a page where you can choose a one-time or monthly donation in any amount of your choosing. Many of you know the high-price of caring for even one parrot - imagine being responsible for nearly 30! Our average monthly operational costs are nearly 10K, not including our ongoing veterinary bills. Sponsorship is a great way to contribute to the cost of care for any of these well-deserving parrots, for the remainder of their lives. In exchange for your support we'll gladly name you as a patron on the bird's profile, and we'll aim to send you pics and videos of your sponsor bird. Thank you from every bird (and us mere humans too) for your generosity and kindness. This program is brand new and we welcome your feedback: [email protected] |

Purchase an original watercolour to support the birds
Vancouver artist Taaye Wong, has generously donated her time and talent and provided three original artworks to sell as a fundraiser for the Nester birds. Pieces are 9" x 12", framed and matted. |
Each piece is $100 CAD and available for viewing and purchase from Night Owl Bird Hospital in Vancouver, BC during their regular business hours. All proceeds go to the birds.
This art is an excellent way to get a one-of-a-kind piece that will brighten any room, and help us brighten the lives of the birds in our care.
